More Than Just An Absence Of Disease
Health is a state of complete physical, mental, social [1], and spiritual [2] well-being, in harmony with nature. [3]
Even though history [4], scientific data [5], and common sense reveal this state to increase greatly the quality of life for everyone,
How do you think the world’s Health stands?
The rate of premature deaths [6] from chronic illness is rising, even with advanced technology.
So, what’s going on?
Is it genetics, our healthcare system, or exposure to toxins?
Is it something we’re doing—or not—that’s contributing to this?
The 4 Have A Role To Play Indeed
You got it right.
Genetics Matter.
Many kids today born to smoking mothers [7] end up with decreased alveoli count. This puts them at greater risk for all sorts of respiratory problems.
Research shows that conditions like Alzheimer’s, [8] diabetes, [9] breast cancer, [10] and prostate cancer [11] often have genetic links.
We cannot discount the billions spent on genetic studies. [12]
Our healthcare system?
The U.S. boasts top medical schools [13], healthcare professionals [14] and leads today in healthcare expenditure. [15]
Yet, an estimated 795,000 Americans [16] become permanently disabled or die annually because dangerous diseases are misdiagnosed.
How do you think Africa is fairing on?
So, Is It Something We Do or Don’t Do?
For most of us, Health relies on 2 things:
- What we put in our bodies.
- What we do with our bodies.
Simply put. Lifestyle.
With a cherry on top.
While genetic predispositions, harmful toxins, and healthcare challenges exist, the good news is:
Your positive lifestyle changes can prevent or delay the development of diseases you might be at risk of.
This message of hope is worth repeating.
You Can Take Charge Of Your Health [17] and Live Life At Its Best! [18]
Your health is vital because it will enable you to:
But — This Is Deeper Than Just Convincing You That Most Of The Leading Causes Of Death Are Preventable [19]
Using scientific literature and common sense. Why?
The quest to achieve optimal Health has been humanity’s struggle for ages.
It would be absurd to speak as if this post holds the only answer to the world’s #1 problem.
I believe that this world, operating in harmonious, complex laws, was created by a very intentional God.
Hence, I find it wise to draw inspiration from He who has “dominion also from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.”
Like many others, I hope to find rest from this troubling problem at last.
And so, I’d like to ask you:
What does God, the world’s Creator, and of your complex body, have to say about your Health?
Could the remedy be hidden within those 66 pages?
What’s That Forgotten Healing Promise?
Don’t you find it amazing that your body’s complexity is reduced to tiny winny structurally adapted cells?
Even more fascinating is this:
Every cell in your body undergoes continual renewal.
Did you catch that?
Let me get you the receipts. You have:
- New Eye Cells: every 1-2 days [19]
- New Skin Cells: every 1 month [20]
- New Intestinal Cells: every 3-5 days [21]
- New Liver Cells: every 6 weeks [22]
- New Bone Cells: every 3 months [23]
And with that, you might start wondering:
Why Aren’t We Getting Better?
Think about the excitement of getting your first new, long-awaited phone.
Getting it a screen protector, gracefully wiping down any smudges every other minute and handling it so gently it doesn’t drop.
That phone will serve you well of course.
In the same measure, God knows what’s best for your body.
He set up perfect conditions for how it would sustain your life.
And aren’t you alive and kicking? Then those perfect laws do work!
And if you’re probably not in the best condition, didn’t He entrust the body He created, to you?
As the manufacturer, He expects you to provide it with the necessary conditions so that it may serve you.
That’s called freedom—God is a gentleman. I call it love.
Unfortunately, We Live In A Fallen World
Away from the Garden of Eden.
As Satan led humanity away from obedience, we live risky lives, drifting from the manual for healthy living.
The good news is that manual has been retrieved!
We didn’t steal it from God after ‘He chased us away’ from the Garden of Eden.
That has never been the story.
He knew how tough life would be after we turned away from Him, which is why He gave that precious instruction manual to His faithful children as we left the garden.
God wants you to have The Forgotten Healing Promise today.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me — Revelation 3:20
He Made It So Simple For Everyone
And it’s not just for the experts.
If it were, why are doctors succumbing to premature deaths? [24]
That’s why, in a reaffirming voice, He reminds you today to “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.”
He who has loved and fashioned you in His DNA wants you to trust Him.
He will “…put none of these diseases upon thee…for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”
To You, God’s Beloved Child, He Brings This Call Even Higher
In 3 John 1:2, God calls you His precious love before saying anything else.
And what does He wish you above all things?
“…that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
How bold is that?
Even as, or in other words, just as/exactly as/in the same measure as — your soul!
You know how God wants your soul to prosper?
I immediately think of Matthew 5:48, Jude 1:24, and Revelation 3:5.
Perfect and faultless. An overcomer of sin.
A perfect God wants to work in you so that your Health becomes perfect, too.
This Special Promise Addresses Another Problem That Exists Today
I believe this quote is self evident:
“There is only one enduring happiness in life — to live for others.”
Without the joy of ministering to others’ needs, it’s easy to lose motivation for another day.
Thus, pursuing a longer, healthier life without this purpose can feel empty.
God addresses this by promising that the greatest joy comes from:
- Realizing His love, even in our secret sins. [25]
- Realizing His work in our hearts to help us forsake sin. [26]
- Realizing His great commission to share that joy with others. [27]
This ultimate quest is what God wants you to pursue.
Reminding others of His 2nd coming with your gifts, talents and unique abilities, pointing them away from this world of disease to one of Health and joy.
Even if you’re given 1000 more years to live, will that purpose ever fade?
How many more souls need saving?
This New Health Series
Will draw on true science, common sense, and Biblical inspiration, to help you find practical ways to improve your Health.
You will see that:
- NEWSTART are the principles that create optimum conditions for your body to function and heal itself.
- It’s possible to start incorporating those principles today.
- Every action requires an opposite reaction, or in other words, there can never be “a curse without a cause.”
- Therefore, disease is “an effort of nature to free the system from conditions that result from a violation of the laws of health.”
- Good Health is a divine gift. Position yourself to receive.
These 8 simple principles are embedded in nature, designed by God with love.
Health is a great treasure. It is the richest possession that mortals can have. Wealth, honor, or learning is dearly purchased, if it be at the loss of the vigor of health. None of these attainments can secure happiness if health is wanting — Christian Education, 16
